About MUL

The Medical University of Lodz is one of the largest medical universities in Poland. Its tradition dates back to the 1940s. Currently, 8,000 students study in five faculties and 15 fields of study. The university also teaches in English, and more than 400 international students participate in medical and dental programs and doctoral studies. Its clinical facilities include four hospitals that top national rankings.

The Medical University of Lodz contributes significantly to the academic life of the city and the country. The university trains future doctors and specialists in the fields of medicine and medicine. Conducts research, development work and offers research services.

The development strategy of the Medical University of Lodz defines the strategic goals and development directions of the university for the years 2021-2025. It is a framework document, a standard necessary for organizational units of the university in operational planning, which ensures the continuity of all implemented projects and initiatives.

Teaching Hospitals of the Medical University of Lodz

The Medical University of Lodz established three teaching hospitals. They enable him to carry out mandatory tasks related to clinical education (undergraduate and postgraduate) and research:

  • Military Medical Academy Memorial Teaching Hospital of the Medical University of Lodz – Central Veteran Hospital located at ul. Żeromskiego 113, Lodz,
  • Central Teaching Hospital of the Medical University of Lodz, located at ul. Pomorska 251, Lodz.
