Lodz is a big city that often takes time to get around. Therefore, choosing the right place to live in Lodz is often important for the success of your stay in the city as a whole. People traveling for a specific business purpose will look for a hotel in a different location than tourists or people who want to rest.

For those who plan to visit and move around the whole city of Lodz, we recommend hotels in the center of Lodz, such as Novotel Lodz Centrum****, Ibis Lodz Centrum** or Boutique Hotel. They are located in the geographical center of the city near the main public transport stop Przystanek Centrum.

Piotrkowska hotels and apartments is a very good place for tourist accommodation. Piotrkowska Street is the central axis of the city, which can be considered a 4-kilometer marketplace.

There are many places to stay on Piotrkowska or the nearby streets.

Holiday Inn**** hotel and aparthotel Stare Kino Cinema Residence and City Center Rooms are highly recommended. Hotel BandB Lodz Centrum** and Brass Suites apartments and Hostelik Wiktoriański are also close to Piotrkowska. Another good place to stay is hotels near Manufaktura, one of the biggest and most important tourist attractions in Lodz.

In addition, Manufaktura is located near Piotrkowska street. The huge historic loom is home to the world-unique Vienna House Andeland**** hotel with spa and rooftop pool. The very well-designed Puro Hotel Lodz Centrum**** is located right next to the Manufaktura, in front of the charming historic Poznański Palace.

If you are in Lodz for a concert or other event at Atlas Arena, you should be interested in hotels near Atlas Arena. The closest hotels to the Atlas Arena are Tobacco Hotel*** and the luxurious DoubleTree by Hilton Lodz****. A little further, between Atlas Arena and Piotrkowska street, there is also the apartment hotel Krzywa Kamienica.

University dormitories – The university offers accommodation on campus in dormitory no. 4 (IV DOM STUDENCKI). The helpful English speaking staff will make you feel at home here.

IV Dom Studencki (Apartment No. 4) at Pl. Hallera 1

Located on the campus, close to the city center, this new building offers a comfortable place to study and relax in a friendly environment. The monthly rent for two rooms is PLN 480 per person.

The neighborhood is under constant surveillance. Each room in the apartment has a bed, a desk, chairs, shelves and a wardrobe, a refrigerator and a landline telephone for incoming calls and connections between rooms. Each room has free internet access. Each accommodation unit has a shared bathroom and toilet. Each floor has a kitchen with furniture and an oven (without cutlery) and a laundry room with washing machines and dryers.

Some of teaching departments are located near the student campus. Other university departments or clinics are available by public transport.
